We will take you off the beaten tracks through less undiscovered places where you can experience a sense of wilderness, Camel ride in and out of the dunes, breathe clean air of the Sahara desert and explore the diversity of wonderfully changing landscapes.
This vast area of sand dunes makes for a breathtaking landscape, particularly at sunrise or sunset. In the evening we make fire and admire a purely sky full with brightly stars and night out in the open air with moments of real pleasure to discover constellations, Night under the stars in the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga with storytelling and you may get involved in some drumming
You’ll be welcomed by our team at the airport of Ouarzazate or Marrakech, and then you’ll be transferred to your place of stay for diner and accommodation.
After breakfast, you’ll head toward Zagora by a 4x4 vehicle; passing through the mountains of the Little Atlas to reach the top of Ait Saoun before arriving to Agdz village. You’ll get the chance to admire the charm of the nature, dunes, palm groves, villages and Saharan lost oasis; you’ll even notice a change of scenery on the borders of southern Morocco. Following your lunch break, you’ll continue the trail towards the Laachar forum pass. Afterwards, you’ll arrive at the caravan where you’ll find camels, camel drivers, and cooks. Eventually, you’ll spend 2 to 3 hours of walking before arriving at the first camp where you can enjoy a tea break, an evening meal and an overnight stay in a tent or under the stars.
After breakfast, you’ll hit the road to the caravan for the second day of walking. This section begins with crossing the top of the Forum Laachar and the Bani mountains. Afterwards, you can enjoy a picnic by an oasis along the way. Throughout the walk, you’ll come across the nomad’s women who keep herds of cattle. And then, you’ll continue to the river of Zaouiat lmhasser, where you can set up a camp near the inhibited tents by Berber families and chat with the nomads.
After breakfast, you’ll start hiking along the dried up waterfalls to the Amsafe Lake. Following your lunch break L in the shade of acacia trees, you’ll continue to the plateau of Hnin, where you can set up a camp for diner and then enjoy an overnight stay with a local family.
After breakfast, the caravan will go through a stone desert which takes you to the sacred oasis. You may enjoy a picnic under the shade of palm trees. And then, continue to the big dunes of Chegaga. Eventually, you’ll set up a camp near the nomad’s tents where you can meet and chat with nomadic families thanks to your Berber guide.
After breakfast, you’ll start your fifth day of hiking by walking through the dunes and Laatach River. During the road, you’ll meet various nomadic families and have lunch in a nomad’s camp as well. You’ll sample another lifestyle in an environment far from civilization. Afterwards, you’ll continue hiking until arriving at the Bougarn dunes, where you’ll join the bivouac for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you’ll be transfer to Zagora through the village of M'hamid and the pottery village of Tamegroute. You’ll be able to visit the Koranic library and the underground Kasbah. Following your lunch break with the locals, you’ll drive to Ouarzazate. Eventually, you’ll be taken to your place of stay for dinner and accommodation.
After breakfast, you’ll be either transferred to the airport of Ouarzazate or Marrakech.
